Just finished chapter 9. I’m pretty sure I already read it before I set the book down for way too long…

Well, that was a longer chapter. I swear it didn’t take me 8 months to read it… 😅

Just finished another chapter. This book uses a lot of world specific terminology, and it’s taken me a bit, but I think I am starting to get the hang of it.

This book seems to alternate between different storylines for each chapter. It was a little confusing at first, but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it.

Just finished another chapter. I may not have much to say, but posting these status updates helps me keep on track. This particular book was recommended to me several years ago and I kept intending to read it, but always just put it off.

Another chapter down. Things are starting to get a lot more interesting.

Despite the kids being super loud and rambunctious, I somehow managed to read another chapter tonight.

I’ve been trying to get myself reading more, one of the reasons I set up this companion site. So I finally stared reading this book, recommended to me years ago. The prologue has a lot going on. I can already tell I’m in for a journey.
